Healthy Forest Alliance Offers Scholarships for Fire Practitioners to Attend Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges (TREX) and Other Fire Practitioner Courses
Truckee, California, February 16, 2024 – The Healthy Forest Alliance is pleased to announce that it is offering scholarships for fire practitioners to attend Prescribed Fire Training Exchanges (TREX) and other fire practitioner courses. These scholarships are aimed at supporting the professional development of fire practitioners and increasing their capacity to safely and effectively implement prescribed fire.
The scholarships may cover the cost of tuition, lodging, and meals for selected applicants to attend TREX events and other fire practitioner courses. This is an excellent opportunity for fire practitioners to enhance their skills, network with other professionals in the field, and contribute to the advancement of prescribed fire as a land management tool.
